Charles Bysshe Shelley, son of Percy Bysshe Shelley, the English poet. · To Ianthe Shelley, his sister : 3 letters : -- 1 autograph letter signed : 24 Dec 1823 : (S'ANA 0434) : 2 pages (double sheet) : from Field Place : begins, "I hope you are very well and happy. I came home for my Holidays on Monday ..."; with partial red wax seal remaining; addressed in unidentified adult hand, possibly that of one of his maiden aunts. -- 1 autograph letter signed : 29 Jun 1824 : (S'ANA 0435) : 3 pages (double sheet) : from Field Place : begins, "I am afriad you did not get the letter I wrote you more than a month ago as I have received no answer but hope you will write to me soon and direct it to me here ..."; addressed in unidentified adult hand, possibly that of one of his maiden aunts. -- 1 autograph letter signed : 29 Jun 1824 : (S'ANA 0436) : 3 pages (double sheet) : from Ashtead : begins, "I came home for the Holidays Friday the 18th and stay six weeks[.] I spend half the time at my Aunt Marys, and the other half, at Field Place ..."; with red wax seal reading "Mary"; addressed in adult hand, probably that of Mary Haynes (later married name Trevor), née Shelley, his aunt.
