· To Maud Russell Lorraine ("Emarel") Freshel, designer and vegetarian activist : 1 autograph presentation inscription signed : [1928, before June] : (S'ANA 1101) : in ink, on the half-title of a first edition copy of Shaw's Intelligent Woman's Guide to Socialism and Capitalism; reads in full, "to Emeral [sic] / from G.B.S." Shelved as *Pforz BT (Shaw, B.) 01.
· To Leslie Preger at The Oxford Bookshop, 8 Oxford Street, Manchester : 1 autograph post card signed : 2 Mar 1946 : (S'ANA 0921) : from Ayot Saint Lawrence, Welwyn, Herts. (ink stamp) : beneath a printed statement declaring Shaw's inability to contribute prefaces to unpublished works; body reads in full, "I'll have a look through the typescript before I send it back; but the above is irrevocable." In 1947 Preger re-published the Avelings's Shelley's Socialism; the preface and dust-jacket of that edition include excerpts of letters from Shaw to Preger.
