Scope and arrangement
· Transcript from Samuel Rogers's Pleasures of Memory : [transcript date ca. 1819-1820?] : (P'ANA 0088) : 1 page (single sheet) : [no place] : sixteen lines; begins, "Hail, Memory hail: in thy exhaustless mine / From age to age unnumber'd treasures shine!" On the verso is a brief autograph note signed from Thomas Love Peacock (TLP 0082), possibly to Sarah Peacock. Filed under "Thomas Love Peacock.".
· To Thomas Love Peacock, satirical novelist and poet (her son) : 1 autograph leter signed : 19 Oct 1831 : (P'ANA 0004) : 1 ²/₃ pages (double sheet) : from Halliford : begins, "Altho' your letter has given me the greatest pleasure -- yet I feel disappointed as you have not said when we may expect you home ..." Printed in full as A3 in the appendix of N. Joukovsky's Letters of Thomas Love Peacock (v. 2, p. 470).
Also held is a four page manuscript obituary of Sarah Love, née Pennell (P'ANA 0089), in an unknown hand, within a lettersheet addressed to "Mrs. Peacock," her daughter; obituary printed in full in SC v. 1, p. 284-285. Filed under "Sarah Peacock.".
