Alfred Forman, English translator. After attending a Wagner concert in 1873, he began producing poetic translations of the operas into English, most of which remain unpublished. He was the brother of bibliographer and forger Harry Buxton Forman. His wife, Alma Murray, was an actor known for her role as Beatrice Cenci in Shelley's The Cenci. To H. Buxton Forman, bibliographer and forger, his brother : 8 holograph pieces of correspondence : (S'ANA 0025-09, 25, 28, 31, 33a, 14, 23) (S'ANA 0927) : 7 letters and 1 post card, discussing literary and family matters.
