John Evans, British General Baptist minister. To Mary Hays, novelist : 1 autograph letter : [ca. 1793] : (MISC 2202) : in third person ; a report on criticism in the English Review of writings by Hays, presumably her Letters and Essays. The letter is written by "Mr. Evans," and its attribution to John Evans (1767-1827) is not entirely certain.
