Biographical/historical information

Henry Francis Cary, British translator. He published translations of Dante in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, and his work for the London Magazine in the 1820's acquainted him with many writers, including: Charles Lamb, William Hazlitt, Thomas De Quincey, Thomas Carlyle, John Clare, Thomas Hood, and Gabriel Rossetti.
