Cathrine Curtis served as president of the Women Investors Research Institute, director of Women Investors in America, and chairman of the Women's National Committee to Keep U.S. Out of War. In these capacities she lobbied for improved legal status for women in regard to ownership of property, tax obligations, business, and investments. She was a radio commentator during the 1930s. Collection consists of correspondence, memoranda, reports, speeches, radio talks, press releases, and other papers of Cathrine Curtis. Correspondence reflects her post-1930 activities advising women on business and finance, lobbying on women's rights issues, and agitating for a return to U.S. neutrality and isolationism.
