Caird Leslie (circa 1900-1970) was an American ballet dancer and teacher. He was raised in Seattle and, after dancing in Europe, returned to teach at the Cornish School (1935-1950.) He had a longtime association with Adolph Bolm, and danced for him in his Ballet Intime and for the Metropolitan Opera. Leslie also taught ballet in New York City. The collection contains photographs, programs, clippings, flyers, drawings, several posters, and a small amount of correspondence. The photographs include professional portraits and candid images of Leslie individually, and with others on tour. There are a number of portraits of other dancers, such as Ruth Page and Adolph Bolm, and past students. Leslie's career is traced in programs, clippings and posters from the United States, Germany, and France, and in advertising material for dance lessons.
