Kurtz Myers was chief of the Music and Drama Department of the Detroit Public Library, 1954-1969. He began work there in 1936 and spent the summers of 1937 and 1939 working at the Theatre Collection of the New York Public Library. The collection consists of correspondence: letters and autographs from people prominent in the performing arts who responded to Myers letters and a pencil drawing of Myers' head. less
