Las Dos Antillas was a political organization founded by Rafael Serra, Rosendo Rodríguez, Arthur A. Schomburg (Secretary), Silvestre Pivalo (Treasurer), and others to support Cuba and Puerto Rico in their fight for independence from Spain. It was founded in 1892 and dissolved in 1898, at the end of the Spanish-American War. The minutes document the donation of weapons, money, and medical supplies to aid the independence struggles of Cuba and Puerto Rico. less
