The Pandemic Diaries collection was created from submissions to History Now: The Pandemic Diaries Project from 2020 to 2021. The Rikers Public Memory Project (RPMP) documents and preserves the experiences of those who have been directly impacted by Rikers Island jail complex, and supports the campaign to close the facilities. The Rikers Public Memory Project oral history collection comprises eighty-nine oral history interviews conducted between 2018 and 2021 with formerly incarcerated individuals and their families.
