Paul Mallman was an American engineer and metallurgist. He worked as a consultant for the governments of Japan, China, Germany, Russia, and Great Britain in the 1910s and 1920s. Collection consists of correspondence, memoranda, writings, engineering papers and printed matter. Materials include correspondence, memoranda and notes concerning Mallman's involvement in the development of the "Death Ray" for the British government after the war. Other correspondence is with friends and associates related to his other engineering projects abroad. Writings pertain to steel production, metallurgy and engineering.
