These materials include manuscripts (with and without annotation); published musical scores, printed matter, and news articles; programs and playbills; and a small number of photographs of Hughes. Their papers date from 1950 to 2019 and chronicle their professional careers through sound and video recordings, correspondence, score drafts, notes, notebooks, contracts, grant proposals, and press clippings.
