Godfrey Nelson (1878-1954) was a tax lawyer, financial columnist, and New York Times executive. The Godfrey Nelson papers document much of Nelson's career at The Times, including his roles as corporate secretary, financial and legal advisor, columnist, and in various administrative roles for The Times' subsidiary companies. The collection also contains some files from Nelson's private practice advising clients on estate and tax law. less
