{"value"=>"
The bulk of the photographs in this series are images of the Ochs-Sulzberger-Dryfoos family (majority owners of The New York Times). Items are mostly portraits of individuals and groups of family members, family pictures at home and at events, and travel photographs. Some family members are represented from childhood through adulthood. There are multiple photographs of the following: Julius Ochs Adler; Barbara Stettheimer Adler; Julius Ochs Adler, Jr.; Judith Sulzberger Cohen; Jacqueline Hays Dryfoos; Orvil E. Dryfoos; Robert Ochs Dryfoos; Mariah Sulzberger Dryfoos; Susan Warms Dryfoos; Ruth Sulzberger Golden; Stephen Arthur Ochs Golden; Adolph S. Ochs; Arthur Hays Sulzberger; and Iphigene Ochs Sulzberger. Also present are photographs of Times staff members, as well as some of prominent individuals, such as heads of state, largely depicted at events with Arthur Hays Sulzberger.

Files are arranged alphabetically by name. Entries without box and folder numbers cross-reference related material in other files. Photographs of married women are typically filed under their married names. In some cases, however, women also have files under their maiden names that contain photographs from before they were married.
"}
