The majority of the production files contain cast lists, letters concerning the play, and rehearsal schedules, while the best documented plays also have promptbooks, annotated scripts, design illustrations, lighting and sound cue diagrams, set-change diagrams, wardrobe and prop checklists, and various other performance notes. The files for The Birds include the musical's piano/vocal score. The Friedman and Son files included two reel-to-reel tapes, labeled \"Mono\" and \"Stereo.\" Before processing, the production files were loosely arranged alphabetically, instead of by season.</p> <p>Inquiries regarding audio material in this subseries may be directed to the Billy Rose Theatre Division (theatrediv@nypl.org).
