It operated as a subsidiary corporation under the name New Traffic Board, Ltd. and became inactive in April 1942, when other means of communication became available, and remained inactive until its dissolution in 1954.</p> <p>Of special interest is a memorandum by Frederick T. Birchall to Adolph Ochs, dated February 4, 1926, describing the origin of the station. A copy of the original by-laws and minutes of the meetings of shareholders and directors are included.</p>"}
