Kelly Company of Chicago to organize a campaign to publicize a set of patriotic books titled America and other printed material related to the NCF's anti-communist campaign, which Mrs. Easley referred to as \"the cause\". NCF received a percentage of the sales. Alfred J. Monett was the director of the department, also known as the Civic Press Association. In 1936 the department was involved in raising money to finance NCF's various patriotic activities.</p> <p>The files contain correspondence, 1932-1933, with the Edward T. Kelly Company and other business and patriotic organizations. There is also correspondence, January-April 1936, asking for contributions to pay for subscriptions to a patriotic bulletin distributed to teachers by NCF; and reports of contributions, January-November 1936; and proofs of anti-communist leaflets.</p>"}
