Members of the committee included Charles Barrett of the Farmers' Educational and Cooperative Union of America, Thomas N. Carver, director of the Rural Organization Services, Department of Agriculture, and the senior Henry Wallace, editor of Wallace's Farmer. The files consist of correspondence of Kenyon Butterfield, Ralph Easley, Roland P. Falkner, and others with members of the special committee, businessmen, agriculturists, educational officials, and government agencies. Some correspondents were Charles Barrett, Edward Breitung, T.N. Carver, and Henry Wallace, Sr. Also in the files is a questionnaire relating to agricultural conditions, and miscellaneous papers.</p>"}
