Scope and arrangement
The Vivienne Segal photographs date from the 1870s to 1972 (bulk dates: 1915-1938) and contain professional photographs of Segal from theatre and film productions; professional portraits and headshots; and personal photographs, including family and childhood photographs, and portraits of friends, some of which are signed. Theatre and film productions represented include Blue Paradise, Desert Song, Oh, Lady! Lady!, Viennese Nights, and Ziegfeld Follies. Papers include a 1958 CBS report on a Federal Communications Commission network study with addresses written on the versos, and a 1972 issue of After Dark, featuring an article on Segal.
