Michael Bennett, director and choreographer, conceived, choreographed and directed the enormously successful Broadway musical, A CHORUS LINE. The collection concerns "the matter of Michael Bennett," preliminary hearings in an unsuccessful plagiarism suit against him for A CHORUS LINE. It consists of transcripts of sworn testimony of Bennett, Cy Coleman and James Lipton and photocopies of A CHORUS LINE correspondence and calendars assembled for Bennett's lawyers.
