Paul Auster (b. 1947) is a Brooklyn-based novelist, screenplay writer, poet, essayist and translator. The archive contains material related to the publication of the three novellas comprising The New York Trilogy (City of Glass, Ghosts, The Locked Room); In the Country of Last Things, The Music of Chance, and Moon Palace; material related to the poetry books Unearth, White Spaces, Facing the Music, and Disappearances, and to a volume of poems and essays, Ground Work.
