Rachel Brooks (1884- ) was a YWCA field worker in China in the early 1920s. From 1929 to 1947 she was associated with the Chinese Christian School in New York City and wrote several books. Collection consists of typed manuscript by Brooks of "The YMCA Government of China", with bibliographic notes, and preface by Bertrand Russell. The manuscript, recording her experiences in China, was never published.
