Collection consists of correspondence between Bennett, his wife Genie F. Carey Bennett, their daughter Thelma, and various friends of the Bennett and Carey families, chiefly concerning family affairs in and around Greenville and Jersey City, N.J., 1883-1928. Includes manuscript of speech given at the Union Club of Greenville by Thomas Carey, Bennett's father-in-law, entitled "The Journey of Life," 1868.
