Alice Blair Andrews (Mrs. F.M. Andrews) was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Among her ancestors were George Dickey of the South Carolina militia, 1781-1782, and Samuel McElroy, a private in the Continental Army. The Blair family genealogical research papers consist primarily of Mrs. Andrews' correspondence, 1914-1941, with members of the Blair, Sellers, and Dickey families and others conducted in the course of her research on her family. Also present are genealogical notes, lists, charts, photographs, family trees, scrapbooks and clippings relating to the Blair, Sellers, Dickey, McElroy, Wilson, Raglan, McWhorter, Irvine, Andrews, and Lee families.
