Scope and arrangement
· Holograph verses, "Lines written before breakfast of June 1834" : [Jun 1834?] : (MISC 0877) : 1 p., apparently sent to Mary Hunter of 2 North Queen Street, Belfast, an autograph collector; begins, "The proudest heart that ever beat / Hath been subdued in me ..."; along with another page [w/m = 1841] with one line in Hebrew and one line in Greek.
· To James Knowles, Irish lexicographer : 1 autograph letter signed : 25 Jun 1830 : (MISC 4061) : from 13 Gracechurch Street; begins, "The satisfactory answer to your note of yesterday will be, I presume, the accompanying parcel with the old Admiralty Commission.".
· To Basil Montagu, author and legal reformer : 1 autograph letter signed : 10 May 1830 : (MISC 0263) : from 13 Gracechurch Street; begins, "'Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh,' and, out of that abundance, addresseth those with whom it hath no claim to discourse.".
