Scope and arrangement
· Typescript essay signed, "Shelley's Two Wives" : [no date] : (S'ANA 0188a.1) : 7 leaves with holograph emendations.
· Holograph note on Trelawny's view of Shelley's wives : [no date] : (S'ANA 0188a.2) : 1 p., with an excerpt from a 3 Apr 1870 letter from Trelawny to Claire Clairmont.
· Holograph note introducing two letters on Browning's thoughts of Shelley : [no date] : (S'ANA 0188b) : 1 p. ; along with two typecript copies of A. C. Swinburne letters to W. M. Rossetti, discussing "what Robert Browning thought of Shelley's desertion of Harriet." The typecripts have a few manuscript emendations, likely in Forman's hand.
· Holograph account signed, "Harriet Shelley's Last Letter" : [no date] : (S'ANA 0188e) : 1 p. ; begins, "The story of the re-appearance of Harriet's last letter is a rather curious one." Along with 2 letters from Forman's wife Elizabeth to Carl H. Pforzheimer (S'ANA 0188f.1-2), listing the contents of the packet of her husband's papers, representing the entirety of (S'ANA 0188). Two parts of the packet have been removed: a 1921 letter to W. C. Forman from J. C. Shelley-Rolls (S'ANA 0188c), now filed under Shelley-Rolls ; and 6 Shelley-related illustrations, now filed as visual materials.
