Manuscript reproductions of hieroglyphic symbols from the mnemonic History of England recently published by Mary Ann Rundall, an educational writer who ran a girls' school in Bath. Each page of symbols followed by a page of "Definitions." Paper watermarked variously, "J Green 1822," "Smith Allnutt 1823," and "R Barnard 1824." Bound in early 19th century half roan over marbled boards. With leather cover labels on the front ("English History") and rear ("Hannah Toomer, Southampton").
