George Bonnell was a Broadway actor who performed under the name Sam Bonnell from the 1930s to the 1950s. Bonnell worked in an uncredited production position for Your Show of Shows, a televised variety show broadcast on NBC from the International Theatre in New York City. The program, which aired from 1950 to 1954, was hosted by a celebrity guest each week and starred Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca. The collection contains Bonnell's copies of scripts for 8 episodes of Your Show of Shows broadcast between February and April of 1950. Scripts contain song lyrics, skit dialogue, and Caesar's monologues. Prop lists and the running order for each episode feature Bonnell's annotations. The collection also holds one review of the show's premiere.
