Scope and arrangement
The majority of the collection consists of works by Schuman which were recorded between 1939 and 1992.
Also included in the collection are works by other composers such as: J.S. Bach; Samuel Barber; Ludwig van Beethoven; Johannes Brahms; Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco; Chou-When Chung; Aaron Copland; Paul Creston; Roy Harris; David Lieberman; Olivier Messiaen; Walter Piston; Quincy Porter; Sergei Rachmaninoff; Joaquin Rodrigo; Gunther Schuller; Donald Sosin and Heitor Villa-Lobos.
