Scope and arrangement
The George Cochrane Hazelton Scores consist of orchestra parts for plays written by Hazelton, though the identity of most of the composers is unknown. The plays were not musical and so scores are of the occasional music used in the work. Of note is the music included for the Edwin Booth production of Hamlet. Other music includes two additional songs, one inscribed to George C. Hazelton, Jr., the other with no known relationship to Hazelton.
