The German opera composer Richard Wagner's opera Tannhäuser was produced in French in Paris, March 13, 18, and 24, 1861. 7 ALS to Richard Wagner, 1861, from Prince Poniatowski, E.B. Kietz, the director of the Theatre Imperiale de l'Opera, E. Cormon, Marie Niemann, and Albert Niemann ; 1 ALS from S. de Charnal to E.B. Kietz, 1859 ; 2 ALS from G. Cormon to Mme. Szemere, 1861 ; 7 rehearsal notifications addressed to Wagner from the Theatre Imperiale de l'Opera, 1861.
