Collection consists of a ledger, account books, and a diary. Account book (1829-1934) contains entries for general merchandise and clippings relating to E. F. Owen's agricultural interests in the vicinity of New Harmony, Indiana. Includes transactions in lumber, flooring, sheetings, etc., with names of Owen family members, as well as a botany copy book possibly kept by a student in the Owen family. The diary (Sept-Nov 1869), possibly kept by a member of the Owen family, describes a trip through southern Russia, Yalta, Kiev, Odessa, Jerusalem, Samaria, Palestine, Egypt, and Turkey, as well as an expense account
