Papers used in compilation of Muse anthology of modern poetry

These papers were used by Carlyle Straub in preparing the publication Muse Anthology of Modern Poetry, Poe Memorial Edition (1938). They include poems in the handwriting of many of the contributors, and letters from some of them; cards from contributors acknowledging proofs; facsimiles of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven," and other materials. Also included are typescripts of prose contributions by Carlyle Straub, John Gould Fletcher, Charles Hanson Towne, Edwin Markham, and others, as well as press proofs
