Henry A. Bogert (1827-1905) was a New York City real estate lawyer who resided in Flushing, New York. The collection consists of three volumes of Henry A. Bogert's manuscript abstracts and property maps drawn from New York City wills, deeds, and land records, concerning the properties of many early families of New York City, Brooklyn and Flushing, New York, with citations to original court records, and genealogical notes, compiled in the late 19th century. The volumes also contain a few loose manuscript property maps, as well as printed maps of the Bowne Estate, 1854 (cut in sections with manuscript revisions), and the Estate of Jediel Jaggar, 1854, in v. 2.
