Charles W. Bryant was a druggist of Granville, Ohio and one of the descendents of the poet William Cullen Bryant. The Charles W. Bryant genealogical research papers contain correspondence with family members, genealogical research notes, family trees, clippings, photographs, and a bound notebook of family history with an introduction by Bryant about his research on the Bryant, Halbert, McCollister, Hatherly, Gray and Fitch families. His correspondence, 1872-1888, often contains surveys he sent to determine family relationships.
