John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1917-1963) was the 35th President of the United States, serving from 1961 until his assassination in 1963. The collection consists of a small quantity of letters written by members of Kennedy's staff on his behalf, acknowledging letters sent to the President. Also included are notices for various memorial services held for Kennedy, stock thank you notes sent on behalf of Jacqueline Kennedy acknowledging condolences, a partial letter from an unidentified writer alleging a conspiracy behind Kennedy's assassination, and several press photographs of Kennedy at the United Nations General Assembly
