Andrew Johnson was the seventeenth president of the United States. This collection of correspondence includes one letter to Horace Greeley (1851), a letter to Samuel J. Tilden (1867), one document signed as governor of Tennessee (1857), a signed note (1860), and two remonstrances received regarding the removal of various appointees (1866).
