The Lamb family included John Lamb (1735-1800), Revolutionary War officer and Collector of the Port of New York and his son General Anthony Lamb (d. ca. 1855). Collection consists of deeds and other land records of John Lamb, Anthony Lamb and other family members, showing their interests in various counties of New York State, with surveys and location maps of the properties. Includes receipt book, 1807-1815, of the estate of Charles Tillinghast.
