(printed stationery); begins, "I procured the Medwin letter with the object of printing it at some time or another, but I very willingly give you leave to make use of it ...".
· To Maurice Buxton Forman, literary editor : 1 autograph letter signed : 26 May 1935 : (S'ANA 0719) : from 28 Queen Anne's Grove, Bedford Park W. 4; begins, "I enclose 'The Honeycomb' which has just turned up. I wish I knew who was responsible for it.".
· To Walter Edwin Peck, Shelley scholar : 1 autograph letter signed : 7 Mar 1924 : (S'ANA 0759) : from 28 Queen Anne's Grove, Bedford Park W. (printed stationery); begins, "I have just been looking at the books of poor [Thomas] Seccombe which are now being cataloged ..."; also including, "I think the time has now arrived for a new edition of Shelley's works & letters ...".
· To Carl H. Pforzheimer, investment banker, philanthropist and collector : 1 typescript letter signed : 9 Apr 1925 : (S'ANA 0618) : from 21, York Buildings, Adelphi, London, W.C.2. (printed stationery); warning him not to purchase the Shelley portrait and manuscripts which he has determined to be forgeries; begins, "I have just received a letter from my friend Mr. W. E. Peck who informs me that you have had offered to you a pencil sketch ..." Along with six typescript copies of the dealer's description of the mentioned portrait; and a clipping from the 20 Sep 1925 New York Times Book Review, with a reproduction of the portrait.
