Cambridgeshire County Council records name a John Oslar who is a farmer in Fulbourn in 1828, and a gentleman in Whittlesford in 1838. Poems, copied and original, and various notes; in ink and pencil. Most entries dated; signed only once, on the verso of leaf 12 ("Dec 15th / 11 oClock / at Night / John Oslar"). In a notebook "Sold by C. Sheppard, no. 19, Lambeth Hill, Doctor's Commons"; with engraved cover illustration of two clipper ships at sail, titled "A gentle breeze." Filed with miscellaneous manuscripts (MISC 2834).
