Catherine Marryat, wife of the British naval officer and writer Frederick Marryat. They married in 1819 and had four sons and seven daughters before separating in 1843. To Messrs. France and Banting, cabinet-makers and upholsterers : 1 autograph letter third person : 20 Apr 1821 : (MISC 3214) : from Russel Place : saying "that Capt. Marryat's House at Wimbledon has always been intended for Sale, but if a respectable family without many young children should wish to hire it for a few years or less, the price is 400 guineas ...".
