He was best known for directing the Academy Award-winning documentary He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin,' the sleeper film Dirty Dancing, and the comedy hit Sister Act. Ardolino's papers date from the 1950s to the 1990s, and chronicle his professional career primarily through video and sound recordings, production materials, posters, notes, correspondence, programs, photographs, contracts, artifacts, and plaques.
