Don Redlich (born in 1929) is a dancer, choreographer, and pedagogue. The Don Redlich papers, dating from 1893 to 2019 (the bulk dates from the 1940s onward), document Redlich's life and career through written descriptions and videos from The Legacy of Hanya Holm: Don Redlich Remembers project; manuscripts and interviews for an unpublished memoir; Don Redlich Dance Company files; Dance Notation Bureau files; Redlich's teaching files; files devoted to Redlich's teachers; letters; school files; photographs; scrapbooks; programs and reviews; posters; datebooks; address books; drawings; family history papers; and audio and moving image recordings, which hold many performances by the Don Redlich Dance Company. The papers also contain a small set of photographs and letters from the collection of the dance critic Arthur Todd. less

Marjorie Gamso (1944-2011) was a choreographer, dancer, and founder of The Energy Crisis dance group. Gamso took dance classes at the 92nd Street Y, earned a B.A. in anthropology from Columbia University (1968), and presented her first dance, "Octopus City" to the public at the University of Southern California in 1970. She studied ballet with Carmelita Maracci and James Waring, and studied modern dance with Merce Cunningham. The Marjorie Gamso collection (1969-2015) primarily documents her career in New York City from 1971 until her death. The collection contains announcements; programs; press releases; notes; letters to Ellen Kastel, Sally Bowden, and Kenneth King; research material; unfinished projects and proposals; writings elucidating her work and creative process; and scripts. Some items were annotated by Gamso's collaborators (including Mary Jane Leach and Bowden) following her death. less

She was also the stage manager for the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company for many years. Her papers, dating from 1971 to 2001, document the activities of TAG and the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. less
