The papers of Maud Madison consist mainly of 87 letters (and fragments of letters), most of which were written by Madison to her mother, her daughter, and to someone she called Lee, Bee and Bon (possibly the father of her daughter). The letters discuss her life on tour in the United States; ideas for costumes and lighting for her dances; living and trying to work in Paris in 1900, her debut in Paris, her opinions of Loie Fuller for whom she auditioned; and her child.

The Patricia (Lehrman) Dunn papers date from 1950 to 1986 and document her career as a dancer and her graduate research on modern dancers through correspondence, articles, notes, and programs. The collection consists primarily of photocopied research files and a small amount of material on her dance career.

Loie Fuller was an American dancer and choreographer known for innovative uses of theatrical lighting and costume who worked primarily in Paris. This research material was compiled by Sarah Mann, a historian in Fuller's hometown and pertains to Loie Fuller and Hinsdale / Fullersburg, Illinois. It includes Mann's manuscripts and published articles about Fuller, photocopied articles, and promotional material about the Fuller House Museum and the Hinsdale Historical Society.
