Derek McLane (born 1958) is an American set designer who has designed for theater, opera, television, awards events, and trade shows. The set designs in this collection chronicle McLane's professional career and date from 1988 to 2015. The collection contains working drawings and plans for backdrops; front and side elevations of scenery and props; construction and lighting specifications; texture, color, and paint samples; reference images; and ground plans of theaters and show spaces. less

Richard Meyer was technical director for the Mabou Mines production of Through the Leaves. The show was produced at the Women's Interart Center (1984) and the Public Theater (1985 and 1990), and was also presented at the Festival de Théâtre des Amériques in Montreal in 1985 and the Israel Festival in Jerusalem in 1986.
