Don Carlos Seitz (1862-1935), American journalist and author, worked for several magazines and newspapers, including the New York World where he was business manager from 1898 to 1923. In addition to his editorial career, he wrote biographies and articles for magazines. Collection consists of correspondence and typescripts by Seitz. Correspondence, 1882-1934, mostly incoming, is with political leaders, authors, publishers, editors, and literary people. Topics covered are the New York World, Joseph Pulitzer and Seitz's books.
