Scope and arrangement
This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts, correspondence, and a portrait photograph. The manuscripts include an essay and article by her husband George Sarton with corrections in Eleanor Sarton's hand. The correspondence consists of letters, dating from 1905 to [1950], to Marie Closset, George Sarton, and May Sarton. There are letters to Eleanor Sarton from Marie Closset, Walter H. Elwes, Edith Forbes Kennedy, Judith Matlack, Muriel Rukeyser, George Sarton, and May Sarton, dating from 1906 to [1950].
