Early Manuscripts and Manuscript Drafts contain multiple incomplete versions of the first half of the book, many of which feature the story line removed from the novel and published separately as the novella \"Ambush at Fort Bragg.\" The lengthy revision process is represented by the edited manuscript and two sets of galleys.</p>"}
