{"value"=>"<p>The Photo and Film Department served as agents for some 250 professional and amateur photographers in supplying photographic reproductions of birds, mammals, insects,fish, reptiles, flowers, trees, fungi, and natural scenes to photo agencies and to publishers of books, and magazines.</p> <p>The records consist of correspondence, the bulk of which is in the 1950s -1960s, arranged alphabetically, of the directors (Dorothy Dingley, Jane Ann Segnitz, Elizabeth Rea, Robert J. Woodward and Richard Pasquel) with photographers in the US and in foreign countries including, Australia, British Guiana, Cuba, England, France, Germany, India, Japan, New Zealand, Rhodesia, and South Korea. Included is extensive correspondence from Ken and Jane Dollinger Krippene relating to their books, their field trips in Peru and Ecuador, and to the history and anthropology of the Indians of the Andes.</p> <p>Collateral papers include vouchers recording amounts paid for photos used in Audubon Magazine; records of photo sales and royalty payments for photos used in other publications; and checklists of photos received and filed.</p>"}
